Newsletter
Information and announcements are available in the Borough newsletter, mailed to residents twice per year (spring and fall).
Brush Collection (monthly)
There will be no further Brush Pick-up services for the rest of this year and the initial months of the upcoming year. However, should a weather-related emergency arise, this may be adjusted for that particular circumstance.
Leaf Collection (weekly in the fall)
Leaf collection will commence on Monday, October 6th, and will run for 6 weeks, ending on Monday, November 17th
Riff-Raff Day
Friday October 10th – NO ITEMS ARE TO BE PUT OUT UNTIL AFTER 4:00 PM
Saturday, October 11th – ITEM BEING PICKED UP MUST BE AT THE CURB SIDE BY 7:00 AM
Newman Hill will collect items, but they will not take general garbage. They will visit your location only once and will not return. This collection is only for residents of Milesburg Borough. If you notice others bringing items into Milesburg Borough for pickup, please call the borough office at 355-3583.
Maintenance
Borough staff maintain and provide snow removal on public roads, as well as landscaping around signs and other public spaces, including the park.
Street lighting
The Borough pays for electricity to power the energy-efficient LED street lights located throughout the Borough.
