Penns Valley Code is responsible for administering regulations within the Borough:
- Zoning Permits are required prior to excavation and construction of any structure larger than 25 square feet with a valuation of over $1,000. In the Floodplain District, permits are required for all structures, regardless of the project valuation.
- Building Permits are required for any accessory structure larger than 1,000 square feet. Permits are generally required for adding an attached deck, porch, or other structure to a dwelling. Two sets of construction plans are required with the permit application.
- Rental Permits are required for every residential and commercial rental property. The permit is valid for two years on residential rentals and one year for commercial rentals.
