The Milesburg Borough and surrounding areas were hit by a severe storm in the evening on April 28th, 2025. The borough and local agencies are already aware of power line and tree damage and are working around the clock to clear road ways and keep the public safe.

If you see a dangerous situation (IE. a compromised power line or tree) please remove yourself, get to a safe location and call 911 to report the incident.

Milesburg Borough employees are currently on the scene and working with Citizen Hook & Ladder Co #1 to remove obstructions and block compromised power lines until trained professionals arrive to repair them.
