When walking your dog in Milesburg Borough, it must be on a leash as per the State Dog Law.  When walking your pet, please pick up all feces.  If you see someone not cleaning up after their pet, call Keith Rupert @ 933-8097 for code enforcement.


Borough Residents may place Christmas Trees curbside for pickup and disposal on January 28, 2019


Other Potential Nuisances:

Burning and open fires are not permitted, except for cooking or social gatherings

Trash removal is the responsibility of every homeowner.  Trash cans and recycle bins should be placed at the curb no earlier than 6:00 pm on the evening before pickup, and must be removed by noon on the day after pickup.

As per Ordinance 348, It shall be unlawful for any person to place on any highway, street, alley, or thoroughfare any materials, including but not limited to, grass clippings, leaves, snow, ice, construction materials, demolition materials or other objects, unless a permit for temporary placement has first been obtained from the Borough.

As per Ordinance 255, property owners and tenants are responsible to clear snow and ice from public walks within 24 hours of the occurrence.

As per Ordinance 348, parking on Hazel Street is prohibited for twenty-four (24) hours after a snowfall of four (4) inches or more has occurred.  Vehicles so parked may be towed at the owner’s expense.  Temporary parking is permitted at the rear of the parking lot at the Citizens Hook & Ladder Company on Catherine Street.
